Library Research HelpJust like the Main and Science Libraries, librarians are on staff in the SLC to help you with your research. Visit us at the Third Floor Reference desk in the central section at the top of the stairs. Research help is also available through: 'Ask a Question' email assistance - Answers to brief, factual questions or to problems accessing library resources. Or email the Reference department directly at mainref@uga.edu. Chat Reference - Chat with a librarian LIVE online! Log into Yahoo, MSN or AIM and add ugalibsref to your buddy list to chat with us. Research Central - Think of it as 24 hour Reference assistance. Use these guides to find research sources for almost seventy subjects. Library Research Consultations - When you are ready to start a research paper or thesis and would like help one-on-one, schedule a Research Consultation. You will meet with a librarian to discover sources for your topic and learn how to use these sources to perform your research. Orientations - New to UGA? A library orientation will help find your way around the many catalogs, indexes and databases available through the Libraries. We are here to help so don't be shy, just ask! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
